Mark Chauvin Bezinque, Esq. has a comprehensive family law practice where he focuses on separation, divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, wills, real estate and other matters affecting families.

As a Collaborative Law attorney, he helps his clients simplify the confusion of the divorce process and enables them to prioritize their needs. He firmly manages his client's concerns regarding parenting plans and residency schedules, spousal and child support, location and valuation of assets and valuation of businesses and real estate. Mr. Bezinque empowers his clients to make good legal decisions to achieve a result they can be proud of and that will last into the future. He has close working relationships with professionals in financial management, mental health and valuation that can support the effective implementation of the Collaborative Law process.
Mr. Bezinque was the first to introduce Collaborative Law to the Rochester community and has since facilitated conferences and workshops on the topic. He is a frequent speaker on Collaborative Law to professionals and the public and is a founding member and executive officer of the Collaborative Law Association of Greater Rochester, Inc.
Mr. Bezinque recognizes that not all couples are able to resolve their differences collaboratively, and as a result he continues his litigation practice. When appearing before judges, magistrates and referees, Mr. Bezinque is a zealous advocate for his clients, navigating through the legal system to achieve results as quickly and efficiently as possible. He is an experienced practitioner before the Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Family Court, Surrogate's Court, the Support Magistrates in Monroe and surrounding counties.
Mr. Bezinque is certified as a Law Guardian in the Supreme and Family Courts by the Appellate Division. Functioning as a Law Guardian expands his understanding of family disputes and the impact of divorce and separation on the family system. Mr. Bezinque is an educator for participants of the A.C.T. For the Children Program - Assisting Children Through Transition. The Supreme and Family Courts of Monroe County and the Children's Institute, Inc. provides programming designed to assist parents in divorce, custody or visitation disputes understand the impact of the divorce or dispute upon the children. As a member of the program, Mr. Bezinque presents information on the law of custody, visitation, and child support.
Mr. Bezinque is legal counsel to the Rochester Bicycling Club.
Mr. Bezinque is a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Law where he served as Articles Editor for the Buffalo Law Review. He has worked as an Appellate Court Attorney for the Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department in Rochester. He lives with his family in Rochester, New York.
